Heartwood Development Company (“HDC”) was founded in 2016 and is led by Paul Powell and Bryan Sims. The two partners have over 50 years of combined homebuilding, acquisition, and development experience in the central Texas markets (Austin and San Antonio). Over the last 16 years we have established strategic partnerships and worked on some of the largest residential development projects in Austin and San Antonio. Since inception, HDC has acquired 4,600 lots in 11 different communities with the first lots being delivered in 2018, while also fee developing an additional 1,476 lots. To date, HDC has delivered 3,179 lots and closed on 1,582 lots with revenue of $91.7MM.
